Ghanaian dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale has been able to become one of the greatest and biggest artiste in Africa ever since he started active reggae and dance hall music in Ghana.
The Ghanaian dancehall artiste gave opportunity or set the pace for his fellow dance artistes in Ghana to grow wings in the Ghanaian music industry.
Shatta Wale has given helping hands to four great artistes by signing them onto his label Shatta Movement, he’s signed artistes like Addiself,Joint 77 and Captan – together called the SM Militants and also Natty Lee, the SM Operator.
Shatta Wale is one artiste who has always been urging his fellow artiste to be united in the industry so they can give support to their own in order to grow the Ghana music industry to high standard.
Shatta Wale has achieved greatness in his field of music and has been given many awards due to his hard works in the music industry. He’s been able to earn himself with over 50 prestigious awards.
Shatta Wale’s talent is not only singing but he is also a music producer,singer,rapper,song writer,actor etc. He is built his own recording studio called “Da Maker”.
With all the above achievement, awards and the standard he has raised ever since he initiated music, one can not doubt the fact that, Shatta Wale is greatest dancehall artiste in Africa.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr is the real name of Shatta Wale, he began his active music career in 2004 with the stage name “Bandana” then his slogan was “Wale Wale”.
Alone the line, he flied outside Ghana to Jamaica to study more about Reggae and Dancehall music.
It was the thought of many that he can no longer do music or bounce to the music industry after he had traveled and was not releasing any song.
But unexpectedly he bounced back with his self produced hit song “Dancehall King” which received massive airplay,gave him the necessary attention,did the magic for him and made him who is today.
His versatility makes him unique and the best when it comes to Reggae-Dancehall music in Africa.
